It's Been Awhile

 I really don't know if I have many readers now days. I think in the beginning there were quite a few. Since those "dark days", life has changed quite a bit. We won't get into too much detail, however there have definitely been more good days than bad in the last 3 years. 

First, I got married! What?! I seriously never thought I would since that brutal break-up with my college BF. I totally lost all hope of finding someone who truly loved me and didn't want to just "hook-up". Peep my bridal pic on the front page :D It was one of the best days of my life. Everything went perfectly and without any hiccups. Short, Sweet and to the point. Psst... no partying for me though! I think I was 8 weeks pregnant. YES, that was planned... and no not everyone knew. You know... because Utah and the disappointment of having pre-marital sex. WHO CARES?! Kids, we are in the 21st century. 

Anyway! We have a little boy, his name is Nixon and he is almost one! What the What?! He is the sweetest boy and has been such a good baby since day one. 

Recently, I have gone on Unemployment thanks our Sweet Pandemic: COVID. I'm really not complaining (too much) I get to be home with baby, so life is good. 

So moving on. I have decided to start blogging more. I have had several people tell me that I'm a good writer. Um, thanks? No but really. I love writing and I've always loved my English classes. BUT! I am no means a professional at all and I wouldn't say that I follow the rules in writing. I write what comes to mind. Fresh and often brutally honest. Why hide your feelings? If I can convey emotion through words so my reader can experience them first hand, I call that success. 

Now that we have some context, I just wanted to say thanks to all those who read my blogs, and believe in me. I can't say what will come next, sometimes just a vent sesh or some background of my childhood... which is the basis of most of my writing.
