What Is The Meaning?

Life.

Definition: the existence of an individual human being or animal.

Every day of my life is centered around my patient's and teaching them about seeing the good in every day, that they can return home, that they can overcome hardships and challenges that this thing called life throws at us.

Let me tell you something, it is so much easier to help someone else through this versus teaching yourself these things. So when it comes to my life... I honestly have no clue.

What does it mean to live? What does having a life mean?

This is something that I think about daily.

Why am I here? What is my purpose? Where am I going from here?

So, we are here on Earth to learn, to make mistakes, to better ourselves... for what? To die? To continue living on some celestial planet to do what? Live? Learn? Make mistakes?

It kind of seems like an endless circle. Like the circle of life.

Are we here to just exist? As per the definition of Life. Well the answer to that is No. We aren't just existing. We are creating memories, exploring the world, pushing our bodies in physical ways and mental.

***UPDATE:

I honestly don't know when I started this blog, but after some recent events and adventures taken; I am slowly learning the meaning. Life is one big adventure. We think that we are finished learning when we graduate high school, however little did we know; that was only the beginning. We continue to learn each day, in college, in our careers; or even when we adventure into the deep backcountry wilderness of Wyoming.

With each connection I have with people in my life, I learn something new. Whether this was brought up in conversation or just observation, I look to each one as a lesson. This lesson might not pertain to me, maybe just life in general.

Such as:
-There is a thing as being "too independent"; this was just an observation; allow others to help you, to bond with you, and share their experiences with you.
-Your attitude toward your own life deeply affects you, and surprisingly others around you; this was a realization of my own attitude a few years ago, and every once in a while I notice the difference in attitude amongst my friends, family, and patients.

I am sure there are other examples.

From my own experience, I can tell you honestly: this life is not easy. But really you are the sole person in control of your life and your attitude towards the things that might happen to you.

You can go at this alone, feeling sorry for yourself; or you can allow others to help you, and influence you through their experiences and learn a lesson from them.

I really do wish the best for you. I believe in you. I know it may feel like you got dealt some shitty cards; but try to make the best of it. Turn negativity into optimism and positivity. Prove to others that you can make the best of that shitty hand you were dealt.

Dear Reader,

You got this. Even when you don't think so, you really do. Take a step back, look at what is important to you. Write down your dreams, achieve them, and best of all live them!
